How to install

  1. Download Official Windows Installer: Visit the official JetBrains WebStorm website and click Download to save the Windows installer executable.
  2. Execute Setup File: Open your system Downloads directory and double-click the setup file. Click Yes when the Windows User Account Control (UAC) prompt asks for administrative privileges.
  3. Run Installation Wizard: Click Next on the welcome screen and accept or modify the default installation destination folder (C:Program FilesJetBrainsWebStorm).
  4. Configure Installation Options: Check the boxes to add the WebStorm executable to your system PATH, create desktop shortcuts, and register file associations (.js, .ts, .jsx, .tsx, .json).
  5. Complete Setup & Launch: Click Install to unpack system files. Once installation finishes, check Run WebStorm, click Finish, and log in with your JetBrains account to activate your 30-day evaluation or subscription license.
