How to install

  1. Download Setup Executable: Download the official Windows installer archive from the official Blackmagic Design Support Center.
  2. Extract Archive Package: Right-click the downloaded .zip file, select Extract All, and open the unzipped target folder to reveal DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_21.x_Windows.exe.
  3. Execute Installer File: Double-click. Click Yes when the Windows User Account Control (UAC) dialog box asks for administrative permissions.
  4. Run Installation Wizard: The setup installer detects essential runtime prerequisites (Control Panels, Fairlight Audio Drivers, PostgreSQL). Select your required components, click Install, accept the End User License Agreement (EULA), and choose your destination directory.
  5. Activate Software & Launch: Open DaVinci Resolve Studio via your Desktop shortcut, enter your 20-digit License Activation Key (or attach your Blackmagic USB Dongle), allow access through the Windows Defender Firewall, and launch the application to configure your database.
